Kay brings over 25 years of client-centered sales experience to the Studio. She began her career at IBM after graduating from Illinois State University with a degree in marketing. It wasn’t long before she blossomed further and joined a successful company within the systems integration industry, where she led teams of over 40 professionals and managed upwards of $60 million in revenue. She later went on to work in leadership training, as well as business development for an advertising agency Kay honed her skills in communications within the health care arena for ten years, working with a multitude of professionals and health care providers.
For the past two years, Kay owned and operated her own marketing and communications firm, serving a broad spectrum of clients in both the public and private sector. “All of these successes give me an excellent background in working with individuals, focusing on the client, producing results, and committing to servicing the community,” she says.
After her most recent home renovation with her husband, Robert, Kay decided to turn her energy and expertise towards real estate. “I have always been passionate about home buying and enjoyed and appreciated every home we have owned and renovated,” she says. “I want to provide that same experience to my clients.” Kay offers her clients a set of core values steeped in integrity, honesty, and hard work coupled with a promise to keep them at the center of every business transaction.
Kay says that she decided to join the Studio because it’s the most trusted name in Indianapolis real estate. “I have always believed in Joe’s philosophy,” she says. Joe and his team possess a boundless determination and a polished touch, and they approach each client with a can-do attitude. “We share the same set of values. It’s a perfect fit,” says Kay.
Kay grew up in Danville, IL, but has called Indianapolis home for the last 25 years. She loved her 23 years as a homeowner in Meridian Kessler and Butler Tarkington. Kay currently lives in Nora with her family. She and her husband plan to join the fun of downtown living after the kids graduate from college.
